New CCSI Projects Announced for 2011

Logan

CCSI is proud to announce the completion of several exciting projects!

2011 was an exciting year for CCSI.  We were able to work with Massport and Southwest Airlines to bring the latest in Digital Audio Paging Technology from Innovative Electronic Designs (IED) to Boston Logan Airport.  We also upgraded the Ticketing Areas in Terminal C.  Using Duran Audio Intellivox Steerable Array speakers, a large open space has highly intelligible audio. Be sure to check out the clear, crisp sound of Ethernet based, full bandwidth audio at Gates E1A through E1E.

In addition to the work at Logan, CCSI was busy at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks (Hartford) Connecticut. Bradley International provides Southern New England a Gateway to the World.  Their intelligible paging system was designed by Coffeen and Fricke and is considered to sound amongst the best anywhere.

Not to be outdone, Green Airport in Warwick (Providence) Rhode Island opened the highly publicized Intermodal Project.  This mammoth people mover integrates the Railway System with the Airport to allow passengers a unique method of travel and some great alternatives from the wonderfully designed airport serving the New England marketplace.

CCSI was the company of choice to design and install the new "Low Frequency Sub System" at the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore Center.  This hockey home to the "Wildcats" wanted some punch to the music played during the games. CCSI utilized Bose(TM) Modeler Version 6.6 to design a system that would deliver the music, yet keep the crisp intelligibility in this highly reverberant space.  With a short timetable and a challenging budget, we were able to deliver on time and with all expectations met!
